December is a special month and to kick it off is a recipe I use all month long! This gingerbread syrup has been going in as much as I can think of because it is so good, and super simple to make.
In a small pot, add water and honey. Place on high heat and bring to a light boil stirring consistently so honey doesn’t burn. Add in remaining ingredients and place on low heat stirring intermittently. Allow mixture to simmer for about 10-15. Place in an air tight jar. I recommend leaving all the ingredients in overnight for stronger flavor, and then strain the spices out. Serve in coffee or tea, over waffles, or whatever you can think of!
